REMOTE MOUNTAIN SCHOOL

One hour climb to this PAX ACADEMY SCHOOL of ALIKADOM, a further number of hours to the more remote Mountain villages from which some pupils come if heavy rain does not close the pathway. They need a school building and educational necessities but have successfully completed their first semester.

From the first classes children have to learn in three languages; their home language, the state official language and English.

Their school mistress is a volunteer, unpaid lady and we are praying for a teacher that can settle among us and help to lead the community.
